    • my 2008 impala keeps reading engine hot/ac off. i’ve already replaced the thermostat, coolant sensor & sensor connector. flushed the radiator & refilled with dexcool. it was working fine then started getting the engine hot message again. there are no leaks, & no noticeable issues with my water pump. no white smoke so i don’t think it’s a head gasket. what else could it possibly be?

    are you sure it’s really overheating or getting too hot? maybe there is a wiring issue. i would try checking with an external temperature sensor when it says it’s hot 🙂
